The Cross Cut Adhesion or Cross Hatch Test is a test that is conducted to test the adhesion strength of a variety of coatings and adhesives. The test is performed using a cutting guide to ensure the incisions are parallel and properly spaced to each other, tape is then applied and peeled off following this the area is examined and rated.

The test can be performed following Accelerated Weathering Testing which can give a comparison result based on how the item performs after being subjected to period of time outdoors.

We currently perform the Cross Cut Tests to ISO 2409.
