TEMPERATURE RISE TESTING
Temperature rise testing is performed on current carrying assemblies and electrical products. It verifies that whilst in operation, surface and internal temperatures do not exceed specified limits.
We test components, products and assemblies with ratings from just a few Amps to 7000 Amps.
For certain regions of the world or for particular product applications, testing is required in raised ambient temperatures. Our range of thermally stabilised chambers control and maintain elevated ambient temperatures.
As well as constant temperature rise testing, we also offer cyclic temperature rise to your requirements.
In addition, non-invasive infra-red temperature measurements can be taken by our test engineers using thermal imaging technologies.
Temperature rise testing specifications and procedures are generally detailed within individual product standards. Contact our experience team to discuss your requirements.
