Since the initial stages of the COVID-19 crisis, Encompass Group Limited has been working closely with employees, customers and suppliers to secure the safe and consistent continuation of business.
We have, where possible, implemented working from home. This has been achieved using simple Microsoft products which we already had in place. We already have a VOIP (Voice Over IP) telephone system implemented, which means that all our phone numbers have remained the same.
We have separated all our working areas, implemented a clear company–wide strategy and given strict advice regarding self-isolation. As we have always paid up to 4 weeks full pay during sickness, none of our employees should be without financial support.
We are very proud of the way our employees have adapted to the new working practices we have put in place. Our team have shown great determination and resilience, supporting each other and our customers through this difficult period.
Our focus remains on the actions we need to take to ensure that our facilities remain safe, not just In the near future, but into the post-pandemic world. We therefore have been updating our company-wide risk assessments in order to create long-term solutions and are now pleased to display our government-issued ‘COVID safe in 2020’ notice.
We will continue to be guided by the advice given by the UK government and will adapt accordingly.
